Date: Saturday (8/12)

Time: 9 a.m. - noon

Place: Sur la Table

Cost: $69

This hands-on, 2.5 hour, $69 class for those 18 and older will teach participants to make buttery, flakey, delicious croissants in three forms: Classic Croissant, Parisian Ham and Gruyere Croissants, and Morning Buns (Croissant Dough Rolled with Cinnamon and Sugar).

Sur la Table asks that participants remember, “Great cooking isn't about recipes — it's about techniques.” During this croissant making class, students will work together in groups of four with chef instructors to learn proper croissant techniques.

Cooking students will receive a 10 percent off coupon, good for an in-store purchase the day of class.

“Our instructor will walk you through all the steps — from mixing the dough and preparing the butter block to the turning and folding process,” the website reads. “You’ll enjoy working alongside other students learning to shape dough and crafting classic croissants, along with some sweet and savory variations.”
