May Group renews lease at FW industrial park

May Group International has renewed its lease for 138,000 square feet at Carter Industrial Park in South Fort Worth. The location serves as the advertising agency’s headquarters and production facility.

The firm has leased two office-warehouses with 60,000 square feet and 78,000 feet at 1200 Forum Way South since 2013, when it inked a sale-leaseback with Hangover Opportunity Fund LLC. The landlord is May Sound Crazy.

Theron Bryant of Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance DFW handled negotiations for the transaction.

The 11.5-acre tract is located off Everman Parkway near Interstate 35W. The May Group maintains a 10,000-square-foot headquarters in the smaller building, with the sister structure housing 500 square feet of office space and 77,500 square feet of warehouse space. The complex also is used for design, shipping and warehouse functions.

WOODLANDS APARTMENTS

IN ARLINGTON SOLD

The Woodlands of Arlington has been sold to a private real estate firm. The 264-unit apartment community is located at 2800 Lynnwood Drive in Arlington.

Al Silva of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services’ Fort Worth office marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a Dallas-based partnership that had owned the property for more than 25 years. The buyer also was secured by Silva and Ford Braly, a colleague. The new owner plans a multimillion-dollar renovation to make the property more appealing and competitive in the local rental market.

2900 Meacham LLC has purchased a 250,000-square-foot warehouse at 2900 Meacham Blvd. in Fort Worth. Chance Olin and Donnie Rohde of Holt Lunsford Commercial represented the seller, and Ryan Wood of TCRG Properties represented the buyer.

IM=X Pilates has leased 2,052 square feet at 3801-3821 Southwest Blvd. in Fort Worth. Walter Owen of Walter Owen Properties represented the landlord.

Engineered Wall Systems has leased 3,600 square feet at Riverbend, Building 24, 7501-7529 Pebble Drive in Fort Worth. George Jennings, Donnie Rohde and Jake Neal of Holt Lunsford-Fort Worth represented the landlord.
