PRIM Construction hired for Victory Park improvements

Fort Worth-based PRIM Construction LLC has been hired for the next phase of Dallas’ Victory Park development.

The Fort Worth firm plans to make capital improvements for three new concepts by Tristan Simon, the Dallas entrepreneur planning the new features for 25,000 square feet of currently vacant space along Block F across from the planned Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas.

Construction already is underway, with completion expected this fall. The renovations follows PRIM’s previous work at the site, including construction of an unfinished parking garage across from the W Dallas-Victory Hotel. When complete in late summer, the structure is expected to feature 22,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, as well as a 2,600-square-foot covered patio for an as-yet-unnamed restaurant.

Fort Worth retail center sold to personal trust

Forty Oaks Shopping Center has been sold, with an individual-personal trust snapping up the 37,500-square-foot property at 5405-5425 East Lancaster Ave. in Fort Worth.

Blake Burnett of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services’ Dallas office and Chance Hales of the firm’s Fort Worth office marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. The buyer was procured by Lisa Estrada, also of the firm’s Fort Worth office.

Family Dollar anchors the retail center, which sits on 3.5 acres and was 100 percent occupied at the time of listing.

Southlake breaks ground on Offices at Kimball Park project

The Offices at Kimball Park is taking shape as Southlake’s next major office development is set to provide 116,484 square feet of Class A office space adjacent to Southlake Town Square at 2114 E. State Highway 114. Groundbreaking occurred on July 19 as city officials and project developers clasped shovels and celebrated the four-level structure, part of the Kimball Park mixed-use project also set to feature a 175-room Cambria Hotel and Suites.
