Industrial manufacturing company Hayes & Stolz is moving from Fort Worth to Burleson.

The City of Burleson announced Wednesday that the company will move to the Highpoint Business Park along Interstate 35 West, north of FM 917. The new facility will be about 144,000 square feet with space for manufacturing and corporate offices, as well as warehouse space. City of Burleson Economic Development Manager Alex Philips said there would also be space for an additional 30,000 square feet if the company decides to expand. The company received a $500,000 development grant from the city in the move.

Construction on the facility is expected to begin later this year with an opening planned for January 2018.

Hayes & Stolz is expected to bring more than 100 jobs to Burleson, according to a news release.

The company joins four other businesses at Highpoint Business Park, which is also home to Airforce Airguns, Chicken E Food Service, Stuart Industries and Wagner-Smith Equipment.

“Hayes & Stolz is extremely excited about the opportunity to relocate our facility to Burleson,” Hayes & Stolz Comptroller Bob Montgomery said. “We are very excited about our decision to move our operations to Burleson in the Highpoint Business Park.”

Hayes & Stolz is currently at 3521 Hemphill St. Company president BJ Masters said Hayes & Stolz is talking with brokers about listing the property.
