Raising a sign in Amarillo
Earlier this year, Signs By Tomorrow Fort Worth, wrapped up the final stages of installation on their biggest project to date – designing, producing and mounting signage on three sides of the tallest building in downtown Amarillo. The display reads “First Bank Southwest” in 6-foot lettering, paired with 7-foot logos and now stands on the high-rise that was formerly known as Chase Tower. According to Andy Levingston, who oversees marketing and sales efforts for Signs By Tomorrow, the assignment took several months to complete, from designing the blueprints to tediously installing the display letter-by-letter.
“It was definitely a long-haul project,” said Levingston. “The design itself took upwards of four months, followed by six weeks of production and more than three weeks of installation.”
The displays now stand at 600 South Tyler Street in Amarillo, with the letters showing off their green hue in the daytime, then glowing bright white after sunset.
“Working on the tallest tower in the city was a major proposal, but I’m so proud of the work our employees put into it,” said Levingston. “It opened up a lot of doors for the future of Signs By Tomorrow. We now have plans for some lower-level signage on the same First Bank tower later this month, and a few more large-scale assignments in the Fort Worth area coming very soon.”

Polycoat opens new Bedford facility
American Polymers Corporation (dba Polycoat Products), which has announced the completion of a new facility in Bedford. Quite simply, due to overwhelming demand to manufacture more material, and a need for increased storage, the new facility became a necessity.
And, it's right next door to their existing facility. In all, it increases their building footprint by 111,000 square feet, including 10,000 square feet of office space.
"Being next door helped facilitate the sharing of resources and staff," said City of Bedford Public Information Officer Natalie Foster. "The City of Bedford and Bedford Fire Department have been partners in Polycoats growth, and since they already had the land, it made sense for them to build next door.
"This allowed Polycoat to increase their production and distribution capabilities from the existing Bedford facility."
The total size of the Bedford facility is now 275,000 square feet on 23 acres. The company also has a facility in Arlington.
The new building has ceilings 30 feet high with 15 docks, two drive-in doors, and special bays for bulk loading tanker trucks. It also includes skylights, LED lighting, industrial-sized ventilation fans, end energy efficient air-conditioning units as the entire facility is energy smart.
Also, the walls within the structure are insulated for energy efficiency and noise reduction. Meanwhile, the exterior landscape was designed with drought resistant plants.
The new facility will allow for more storage of raw material to minimize issues related to supply. It will also allow for the taking on of additional manufacturing responsibilities for their truck-¬bed liners and waterproofing coating products.

Polycoat Products, headquartered in Santa Fe Springs, California, specializes in the manufacturing and custom formulating of high-performance, monolithic, protective polyurethanes, polyurea, and polyaspartic coatings and linings.
American Polymers Corporation also has job openings for shipping/receiving personnel and certified forklift operators to distribute content between their two buildings in Bedford. The company plans to expand to 50 employees within the next five years. – Rick Mauch

Michael Gonzalez, senior director at Vision Commercial, and Ali Parvizi, agent with United Real Estate, recently completed lease negotiations at 220 S Denton Tap Rd in Coppell. Aariya Realty will lease out the site to a Sigma Dental Specialists, which will share a unique multi-tenant dental office with multiple general and specialized dentists. The office is set to open in the middle of August 2019. In this transaction the lessee, Sigma Dental Specialists was represented by United Real Estate, and the lessor, Aariya Realty, by Vision Commercial.
