United Way of Tarrant County Board of Directors

United Way of Tarrant County has announced new and returning members of the Board of Directors for 2019-2020.

“Our board members are passionate about our community and about our work to solve Tarrant County’s toughest social challenges,” TD Smyers, president and CEO of United Way of Tarrant County, said in a news release. “We are excited to have these leaders represent our organization.”

NEW BOARD MEMBERS

• Martin Noto, executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Inwood National Bank. He serves on behalf of many organizations including as vice chairman of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, finance chairman for the Salvation Army Advisory Board and chairman of the Housing Channel.

• June W. Davis, board president of Crowley ISD and the former director of special programs in Fort Worth ISD. She is a veteran educator with more than 30 years’ experience. She was first elected to the Crowley ISD Board of Trustees in May 2003.

• Stevan “Steve” B. Bobb has been the executive vice president and chief marketing officer for BNSF Railway since January 2013. In this capacity, he is responsible for the company’s sales and marketing activities, customer service, economic development, equipment management and intermodal facilities. He currently serves on the Medical City Alliance Board of Trustees.

• Cheryl Mobley is the founder and CEO of reCalibrate, a company that identifies the gaps that are keeping business from consistently getting results. She has worked in both the U.S. and abroad.

• Peter Grant Jordan, president of Tarrant County College South Campus. He currently serves as a trustee for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), on the board of directors for Southeast Fort Worth Inc. and is past president of Rotary Club of Fort Worth East.

• Brian D. O'Neill, PE, CFM, a principal at Pacheco Koch and oversees the Fort Worth office. He has more than 24 years of experience in civil engineering planning and design, including the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates, construction management and administration.

• Jeff Whitfield is a partner at Kelly Hart, where he represents businesses and individuals facing a wide variety of legal and policy challenges. Whitfield attained the rank of captain while serving as an active duty Air Force officer.

• Gloria Starling is a managing partner at The Capital Grille in Fort Worth. She has worked for Darden Restaurants, Inc. for 10 years. Before being named managing partner, she was sales and marketing manager. She was also named the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 2014 Business Woman of the Year.

• Danny Torres is the general superintendent-Texoma service unit for Union Pacific Railroad. His team has responsibility for safety, service and efficiency across 2,200 rail miles in Texas, Oklahoma and portions of Arkansas and Kansas.
