Compass has announced that Brenda Sims has joined as sales manager supporting the real estate technology brokerage’s 30 agents in its Fort Worth office.

Sims is a native of Fort Worth and was sales manager for Virginia Cook Fort Worth for the past seven years. Prior to that, she led marketing for a title company in Fort Worth, was in advertising with the Star Telegram and was a teacher for 12 years with Texas Boys Choir and Trinity Christian Academy.

She graduated from Arlington Heights High School and attended college in Lubbock at Texas Tech, graduating with a degree in education.

The brokerage announced its 12,000 square foot Fort Worth office at the Shops at Clear Fork in April and plans to move into this fall.

Compass entered the North Texas market in early 2018. The company said in a news release that several of its differentiators include providing agents with comprehensive marketing support, access to a wide-reaching network of agents across the country, and Compass’ unmatched, proprietary technology platform.

Founded in 2012 by Ori Allon and Robert Reffkin, Compass operates in 30 regions with more than 90 offices across the United States.
