Singing in the rain is a musical from 1952 which follows the silent film actress Lina Lamont after talking films come into play. Lamont needs someone to fill in for her “shrill” voice and Kathy Selden will do just fine. Singing sabotage, a love story between Selden and Lamont’s co-star and more, Singing in the Rain continues to be a classic hit and, as the website says, “one of the greatest and most successful musicals ever filmed.
